Red 5 Chat Red 5 Chat is a tool for real-time messaging and chatting in the local network in Misrosoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000. Owning and managing a chat room doesn't have to be limited to experts with dedicated servers. Red 5 Chat is a tool for encrypted, real-time messaging and chatting across a local network. It does not require an Internet connection or a dedicated server to support discussions, and all users have equal access to the application's tools and functions. At start-up, all Red 5 Chat users on the network will join one common chat channel (called Main). However, users are not limited to this one channel--they can create as many new channels as desired and initiate discussions on completely private channels. You can also send messages at any time to other online "buddies" (all users who have Red 5 Chat running in your network are visible). You can chat in public as well as private chat rooms, requiring passwords to enter discussions. You can also send private messages to individual users. ..
